Today we were invited by The Department for Lifelong Learning, University of Sheffield to have a tour of the The University of Sheffield. We’re going on a bear hunt
Yesterday we went on a bear hunt in Sheffield city centre. Over the summer “The Bears of Sheffield” have taken over the city to help raise money for Sheffield Children’s Hospital. There are 100 big bears and 60 little bears to find which have been decorated by different artists. You can see a map of the bears and learn more about them on the bears of Sheffield website here.

We’ve had many new people signing up for classes recently who have only just arrived in Sheffield. So today we invited them to come on a walk and talk. We visited Mount Pleasant Park, U-Mix Centre and went to Heeley City Farm to say hello to the animals! If you’d like to join our classes please enrol here.

First trip of the summer
Today we had a class trip and met some people for the first time in real life. It was lovely to see everybody! We learnt a bit about Sheffield’s history with some poetry thrown in too! During the summer we will be doing regular outdoor classes if you would like to join please enrol here.
