Jasmyn’s Volunteer Story
“I have truly enjoyed the past eight months volunteering at Life for Life Enterprise. It has been an incredible experience, and I feel privileged to have been part of such a vibrant learning community. I love the environment here, where people of all ages and backgrounds come together, united by a shared passion for lifelong learning.
I deeply appreciate every teacher and classmate I’ve had the pleasure of meeting here. Each of you has taught me so much, and I will carry those lessons with me as I move forward. I also want to say that every time a teacher told me, “Jasmyn, you really helped a lot,” or a classmate said, “Thank you, Jasmyn,” I felt a genuine sense of accomplishment. These moments are something I will always cherish.
I will always remember my time here. In particular, I will never forget the valuable lesson you shared: “If you can’t explain a concept to others, you haven’t truly mastered it.” This wisdom will stay with me as I return to China, where I aspire to become a qualified teacher, just like you all.”
Good luck to Jasmyn and Nataliia, we’ll miss you both very much!

Network Meet-up: Supporting Asylum Seekers and Refugees
On Thursday we co-delivered the Good Things Foundation Network Meet-up: Supporting Asylum Seekers and Refugees alongside Good Things and Job4Me=Job for BAMEs.
We took part in a panel discussion around the importance of supporting new arrivals to the UK with digital inclusion. Migrant Help shared how they are providing support nationwide. Lots of hubs attended and shared their views in the breakout rooms which was really useful.
