English My Way research partner

As part of being a research partner for the Tinder Foundation’s English My Way programme our staff and students have taken part in case studies. Last week the Tinder Foundation came down to the centre to take some photos and carry out a few interviews. Below are a few of the photos they took of Barbara and her class.

Any Questions? at Sheffield Cathedral

A small group of us went to Sheffield Cathedral to take part in BBC Radio 4’s “Any Questions?”. It was an interesting and educational evening. It was also fascinating for individuals who have previously not been allowed, or seen people, disagreeing with the government in their own country due to fear of imprisonment or worse.

Happy New Year!

Seasons Greetings

Seasons Greetings from everyone at Learn for Life.

Our thoughts, love and best wishes are with those who are still making the journey across Europe, stuck in a country without freedom & safety, making do in a refugee camp, struggling in the jungle in Calais and waiting in limbo for their refugee status. We hope next year will be a better year for you all and compassion and empathy will prevail.

Peace, respect and love to you all xxx
