Scraithwood TARA knitted some lovely items for Ukraine which we arranged to send to Kyiv in time for Christmas. These included toys, socks for soldiers, jumpers, scarfs, hats and pants amongst others. The items arrived in Ukraine where they were distributed to children who have lost parents in the war and soldiers on the frontline.

Jonathan is one of our amazing volunteers who works on our reception desk. He was interviewed by Good Things Foundation about the support he’s received through being a member of Learn for Life.

We’ve been getting into the festive spirit at Learn for Life this December learning about Christmas, traditions and crackers.

It’s been great to have Sheffield University medical students Ann, Hamza, and Yasmin on placement at Learn for Life. They’ve been supporting our classes and producing resources for us to use in the future.

This week is UK Parliament Week and we had a mock election which resulted in a hung parliament! Luckily the New Party and the Invincible Party decided to form a coalition.
